A Best Seller! The Hidalgo Sanlucar Light is a stunning working equitation saddle with a very soft and comfortable seat, dubbed “the couch”. The external fixed knee blocks offer a super secure seat and good grip in the saddle. The saddle has and English-style pommel so it will not get in your way when in a light seat or popping over a jump. The Sanlucar light also has an English style, softly padded cantle.

Sticky German Kilger leather on the seat and knee, and gorgeous Cognac tooled leather on the flaps make this saddle a showstopper!

 

Just like all Hidalgo saddles, the Sanlucar can also be used on high withers and offers excellent freedom for the horse’s shoulders.

This is a perfect saddle for adult riders with a 18” seat size, yet it’s still extremely lightweight like all Hidalgo saddles.

A leather tree is supportive yet flexible and will adapt to the horse’s back along its entire length.

The saddle doesn’t collapse on the spine due to the layered rawhide tree construction, and a stirrup bar element which provides support and maintains the gullet.
